What does Atera cost beside NetZen?
Atera MSP plans as shown to a Canadian visitor on atera.com/msp-pricing, 22 October 2026: Pro CA$189, Growth CA$249 and Power CA$299 per technician a month billed annually (CA$199, CA$269 and CA$349 monthly); AI Copilot included in all plans; Robin by request. Atera prices its page by region. NetZen bills in US dollars.
What changes day to day after Atera?
A client reports a stopped service in Teams (an example, not a customer). NetZen opens the ticket, reads the device through the endpoint agent and attaches the service state, recent events and the logs. It offers the enabled fix, a service restart, and waits for the approver you set on that automation; the run and its output land under History.
When the ticket needs a person, the assistant stops and hands over with the findings attached. Windows, macOS and Linux devices are included at one price per technician. Teams, Slack, email and web chat land on the same ticket in the service desk; a run book built once in Automations is reused across the clients you scope it to; the RMM covers patching, Live View and remote connect. NetZen is the full PSA, hosted on Google Cloud in the United States.
What do technicians get on a ticket?
Matt Kerekes, CEO, Cinema Hero Solutions: “It hands the ticket to us and says, here are the details, here are the logs, now you can dive into it, rather than spending 30 minutes to an hour trying to find out what is actually happening.” The customer’s own words, not a measured result. Read the interview.
Before you install anything
Both bill per technician. Atera’s plans are per technician a month, with Mac and Linux from Growth (pricing page, 22 October 2026). NetZen is US$100 per technician a month, US$50 in year one on the Thanksgiving offer; devices, clients and end users are not billed.
No. Runs started from a ticket follow the approvers you set per automation: Requester, IT Support, Site Manager or Not Required. The assistant cannot approve its own action. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace checks are read-only. Every run, manual or scheduled, is listed under History.
Yes. Quotes, agreements, projects, time tracking and invoicing are included, with QuickBooks Online and Xero export. Service desk, RMM and automations run in the same workspace, so there is no second product to buy for billing.
Yes. The 30-day trial needs a work Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 account, no card. Install the agent on one computer; it connects out over HTTPS only. Nothing is charged when the trial ends without a card, and your data is kept.
Test beside Atera for 30 days with a work account, no card. Keep Atera running, connect one computer, send the sample-client app request, then review the approval and the device action before planning a move.
